Asalaam alaikum all,
Are you or do you know of any women whose husbands have married again (because it's allowed in Islam)?
I am very interested in the impact this has on the first wife and her children
Polygyny was sprung on me. You could say, well you don't have to stay or well you stayed that was your choice but the reality of it is why should the first wife have to give up financial security and endure the stresses of a separation.
Nikkah should be made legal to stop these 'I can be equal in my treatment' men taking on another wife.
