Hi everyone! I want to buy and read more books by BAME female authors, to support and empower them in these difficult times. Unfortunately, BAME authors do not get the same hype for novels as their white counterparts which is disappointing and the few BAME books I have read have been better then the popular books written by white authors.
So, what recommendations does everybody have? I'm not really picky over specific genres.
I'll start:
- Spy Princess: The Life of Noor Inayat Khan by Shrabani Basu
- Ayesha at Last by Uzma Jalaluddin
