International Day Of Charity

Sahih Muslim 2588With it being the International Day of Charity on the 5th of september, it got me thinking...
Every time I give something to charity, small amounts or big, I have always noticed that I get something back in return. For example, when I gave sadqah last year, I immediately got some money returned to me that I did not even realize was owed to me. This does not stop here. I also feel protected. The other day I gave in charity and the same week I accidentally left the iron on in my child's room. The next morning I see a huge burn on the carpet, but alhamdulilah nothing set on fire and my child was completely safe.
I honestly believe it is Allah protecting me especially when giving charity.
Does anyone else have any stories about when they give in charity, what they get back?
