Research Participants Needed!

Hi everyone! My name is Hafsah Majeed, and I’m a Psychology undergraduate at the University of East London. I am a British pakistani, if that makes any particupants feel more comfortable. I’m currently conducting a dissertation study exploring eating behaviours and body image in relation to South Asian cultures, families, and identities among adults in the UK.

If you are:
Aged 18–65
Identify as South Asian (e.g., Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, etc.)
Living in the UK
Comfortable completing a 20-minute anonymous online survey

…then I would love to hear from you! This research aims to better understand how cultural and familial influences shape body image and eating attitudes, and to help improve culturally sensitive mental health support. 🔒 All responses are anonymous and you can withdraw at any time. 📅 You’ll have up to 3 weeks after completing the survey to withdraw your data if you wish.

💬 Support resources are provided at the end of the survey. Participation is completely voluntary.

📩 If you're interested or have questions, feel free to message me or email me at U2488259@uel.ac.uk. If more reassurance is required you can contact my supervisor John Turner ( J.J.D.Turner@uel.ac.uk) or the Ethics commitee chief at Dr Trishna Patel, Department of Psychology and Human Development, School of Childhood and Social Care, (Email: t.patel@uel.ac.uk)
