Baroness Shaista Gohir OBE - House of Lords Maiden Speech

We are really pleased to share the Maiden Speech of Baroness Shaista Gohir OBE of the Muslim Women’s Network UK (MWNUK) at the House of Lords on Monday 10th October 2022.
Baroness Gohir was appointed to the House of Lords as a non-party-political peer earlier this year. She was selected by the House of Lords Appointments Commission following an independent competitive process and recommended to the Prime Minster because of the expertise and experience she will be able to bring to the work of the House.
